Information technology is becoming an integral part of our daily life, and even one of the most successful areas in the labor market. But due to various prejudices, girls' involvement in computer science is not widespread, not only in Albania.

To counteract these stereotypes, high school graduated girls became part of Microsoft's DigiGirlz Albania event. Around 75 girls had the possibility to become acquainted with the personal experience of some successful women in this field as well as to participate in the workshop held during the event.

Emma Balkans was part of this event, with her president Dipty Chander sharing her inspirational story as well as the problems she encountered at the beginning of her career with all the participants. She suggested to all the girls passionate about this industry to pursue their dreams for a secure professional future. Members of the organization were also there to assist all participants during the workshop.

Sokol Vladi, CEO of Microsoft Albania, encouraged girls to pursue their studies in computer science by directing their careers towards the global dimension of this field. He supports and promotes the innovative ideas of all passionate young people.

DigiGirlz is an event dedicated to girls, part of a Microsoft YouthSpark program. The girls attended a workshop on the latest innovative technologies, managing to build their first ChatBOT in 30 minutes.
